Trailfinders visit Pitshanger Lane as Ealing gets in to the Christmas spirit
A number of Ealing Trailfinders players headed down to Pitshanger Lane on Sunday evening as the Christmas lights were turned on ahead of the festive period.
The squad aim to get more involved with the local community and took part in a number of events as well as drawing the raffle at St Barnabas Church.
Oli Curry and Sam Rodman visited Cinnamon Cafe and were helping the staff by taking orders and even took on the duty of being waiters for the customers.
Elsewhere Llewelyn Jones, Lewis Robling and Aaron Penberthy were in Harrison’s Deli meeting customers and offering them the chance to attend a match of their choice at Vallis Way.
During their time at the Deli the customers were challenged with guessing the combined weight of the three players, and in exchange for the correct answer there was a signed Ealing Trailfinders shirt.
The evening concluded at St Barnabus Church, where the players took part in a Q&A as well as drawing the raffle before the carols began.
The West Londoners have two consecutive away matches before their next home fixture, when they take on Rotherham Titans at Vallis Way on Saturday 16th December.
