Murphy: We didn't make it easy on ourselves
Captain Kieran Murphy admitted that the Trailfinders made the Quarter Final victory a difficult watch for the supporters after a late rally from Cornish Pirates.
The West Londoners were 28-13 ahead with just 15 minutes remaining but two late scores brought the Penzance outfit right back in to it, and forced the Trailfinders to hold on in the final seconds.
"It was a topsy turvy match and after getting a commanding lead twice we let them back in to the match but overall we're delighted to quality for the semi finals." Said the skipper.
He added: "We held on for dear life at the end but credit to Pirates who are a quality side. We'll look forward to the semi against Bedford, we've had some great battles with them this season and I'm sure that one will be no different."
