Morgan Allen signs for Ealing Trailfinders
Ealing Trailfinders can today confirm the signing of number eight Morgan Allen for the remainder of the 2017/18 season.
The Welshman joins from Llanelli Scarlets, where he featured on 27 occasions during two seasons at Parc Y Scarlets.
The 27-year-old, who stands at 6’1” has also played for the Ospreys, spending five years with the Swansea outfit and playing 53 times.
Allen has worn the Welsh jersey at both Under 18 and Under 20 level, and arrives at Vallis Way to add further quality to an already impressive back-row.
This season Allen has been playing for Bedwas, who currently sit top of the Welsh Principality Premiership.
The number eight is looking forward to a new challenge in the Greene King IPA Championship.

I'm looking forward to working with the coaches to help push for promotion at the end of the season. The club has a lot of ambition to move on the bigger and better things and I'm looking forward to being part of that.”
Director of Rugby Ben Ward is pleased to be adding more depth to his squad for the rest of the campaign.
“Morgan has proved himself at the top level and we’re excited to see him progress here at Ealing Trailfinders. The back-row is a competitive area of our squad and we’re confident that Morgan will add more strength to the scrum and strong ball-carrying ability.”
He continued: “ We studied Morgan a great deal last year in the build up to our British and Irish Cup Quarter Final against Scarlets and were impressed with what we saw.”
